Dear PNAA Members:
This year has been an extremely difficult year globally, most notably with the COVID-19 pandemic. For the frontliners during this pandemic, we Thank You for all of your hard work and dedication. To all our fellow Filipino-American nurses, your passion and efforts are recognized and celebrated.
We understand that as nurses, one of the coping mechanisms that many of us utilize is compartmentalization. Pre-COVID-19, most of us were readily able to separate work from our personal lives. As COVID-19 cases continue to rise we have been protecting ourselves by using facial coverings, social distancing and at times isolating ourselves even from our loved ones, and have adjusted to our new normal by avoiding mass gatherings.
In true nursing fashion, we continue to perform and deliver high-quality care to our patients. For a plethora of reasons, many of us have not taken the opportunity to stop and check in on ourselves while we continue to care for our patients.
Mental health and our overall well-being have been one of the most important lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope that you take the time to complete this survey to give you a general sense of your own emotional state.
The result of this survey will help PNAA assess the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and well-being of our nurses as part of the assessment and programming needs.
The information you provide on this survey will be treated with utmost confidence.
This survey will take only 5-10 minutes of your time to complete. Please click on the link to start the survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PNAAMaskSurvey).
